TK-2102 AIRMAX NP RUBBERIZED AIR BARRIER is a high-performance, rubberized polymer formulation. TK-2102 AIRMAX NP provides an effective barrier against air leakage and vapor diffusion and provides a water-resistive barrier in above-grade wall assemblies. Its intended use is for commercial cavity walls. TK-2102 AIRMAX NP sprayed onto masonry; poured, precast walls; or dens-glas along with a self-adhering air-barrier and flashing membrane around windows and doors and over control joint and pipe and conduit extrusions through the wall, make up a comprehensive system to protect any exterior envelope. The flashing membrane may be installed first or after TK-2102 is sprayed to the wall. Flashing membranes adhere well to TK-2102. Expanding foam can be used to fill conduit and pipe extrusions through the wall, then sprayed or brushed over with TK-2102. |
